Environmental management: Achieving a sustainable planet

We are an long-lasting industry. We have been in business for more than 70 years and we want to continue for many years more. To achieve a sustainable planet, we must adapt to climate change and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. Our Environmental Management Plan outlines actions to decarbonize our industry, avoid energy waste and reduce our waste footprint.

Social management: Promoting well-being for all

Inchalam’s history is marked by a strong social commitment to our employees, their families, neighboring communities and the development of the country. Currently, we are implementing a Social Investment and Community Relations Plan to promote the well-being of everyone of our stakeholders, maximize their social impact and incorporate the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in the areas of management.

Governance management: Installing a sustainable culture

The step forward to sustainable management is a process that requires all our employees to be prepared and aware of the importance of this task; it involves integrating all areas of the company, getting the knowledge and tools to incorporate sustainability into our performance, and sharing good practices among those involved in the rest of the value chain. In order to install a sustainable culture, we have a strategic plan that mobilizes the appropriate support for sustainable management in all these areas.

To achieve this objective we make available our Code of Conduct and  Corporate Crime Prevention Manual. By 2023, 100% of our employees have been trained in our Code of Conduct  and Corporate Crime Prevention Manual. Every year, 100% of our employees make their Conflict of Interest  Declaration. As of 2023 we have included in our Due Diligence the Evaluation of all new suppliers on sustainability issues.
