Production Process
We have a complex and precise production process that allows us to deliver high quality products, aimed at different market niches and produced with sustainability.
The following diagram summarizes in a schematic and simple way each of the essential steps to obtain high quality wire products:
Our Approach
- Acquisition of Raw Materials.
The process begins with wire rod, a circular steel bar that is used as raw material for the manufacture of wire. - Cleaning
The wire rod undergoes a cleaning process to remove rust and impurities from its surface, through chemical methods such as pickling, or mechanical methods such as decalaminating. - Wire drawing
This is the most important stage in the manufacture of wire in which the diameter of the wire is gradually reduced and, it becomes thinner, without losing its material. From here it can be transformed into finished product, pass to the process of manufacturing nails and/or fasteners or pass to a heat treatment process. - Nail manufacturing
Once drawn, the wire can be used for the manufacture of nails, or sold as a final product. - Wire heat treatment
In this process the wire is subjected to high temperatures in different types of processes such as annealing, galvanized or patented heat treatment. - Galvanized, copper-plated or plasticized
To prevent rust of wire, it is coated with a zinc film through the galvanizing process. Other ways require immersing it in a copper solution (copper plating) or coating it with plastic (PVC or HDPE). - Manufacturing wire products
After multiple treatments, the wire can be used as a finished product or be used for byproducts such as springs, mesh and fences, among others. - Packaging and storage
The products are packed and stored in the plant’s warehouses. - Trading
The products are ready to be distributed to the different points of sale in all regions throughout the country.

Certifications
Continuous improvement is part of our culture and is part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, sustainable management, delivery of quality solutions, developed with processes based on operational excellence and in a safe manner.
For this reason, we have been certified since 2001 in the ISO 9001 Quality standard and since 2015 in the ISO 14.001 Environmental Management standard.
In line with the challenges of the future, at the end of 2023 we were certified in the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety standard and in 2024 we were certified for the first time in the ISO 50001 Energy Efficiency standard.
