We marked the end Of “Voces que impactan 2023”  program.

The program concluded with an event where the winning student groups presented the results of their initiatives. Voices That Impact 2023 is a pioneering program aimed at creating concrete actions to connect with our local communities, integrating elements of environmental and social sustainability.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with Inspiringirls, provided resources to young people from various educational institutions in Talcahuano to implement projects that would positively impact their surroundings. Specifically, three initiatives were carried out with goals to combat bullying, support children who feel isolated, and promote recycling.

Rodrigo Farías, Head of People and Sustainability, commented: “We are very pleased to have launched this program for the first time and, through it, to continue contributing to the community and social development of our neighbors. We hope to inspire many more schools to follow this example so we can sustain similar initiatives in the future.”

Meanwhile, Juana Torrejón, Biology teacher at Colegio Etchegoyen, who supported the students throughout the Ecoplastic recycling project, said: “We think it’s wonderful, first and foremost, that we have the resources to develop a project. When you develop a project, it means you’re pursuing a dream. But it also helps develop skills. I’m very happy with my students and grateful to Inchalam.”
